Every country has its own identity, its stereotype, something it is known for. In Romania, however, things are not so clear. Although we regained our freedom in the last 30 years, very little is known about us outside the country. This film presents five personalities active in five different fields, each of them putting Romania on the map and adding to the cultural, ecological, traditional, scientific, technological and artistic heritage of a country that has an extremely rich potential.

For this project, I had the task to process and animate the illustrated map of Romania made by Adrianna Borucka. It was a fun exercise to give life to her characters and get into her drawing style.
