The story of a rich American teenager Nick, with Romanian origins who struggles with depression, searching for purpose, meaning and caught in the process of maturing. He goes traveling with his friends in Romania and keeping some sort of a video diary, being very curious in different life aspects and documenting almost everything. He starts making his own movies and discovering his family roots. 
Being made only with found footage, the film covers almost all of his life, from the moment he was baptized till the moment he has a tragic accident in Romania at 26.

Super Dude is a story written and illustrated by Nick when he was a child, and is one of the short animations I made for this documentary. I had to reinterpret and animate all the fun illustrations he made, and give life to his amazing story.
