ICKitties is an avatar collection, on the ICP blockchain, with everything designed with a long-term vision in mind. Initially, the client needed a short animation that would reveal the story behind the ICKitties collection before the release.

Therefore, I directed and animated their story and the release was a great success. That enabled the project to continue and evolve into a play-to-earn game, which also meant a rework of the entire collection into a new style. For this task, I illustrated the new collection, designed the game UI, new weapons and created the animations and background illustrations that were needed for the game.

 

To further develop the characters and the lore of ICKitties, I also created an illustrated book which tells the story of each of the 7 ICKitties Kingdoms.
